Group Seminars
- Single-day or multiple-day programs
- Small group (3-15 participants) or large group (15-40)
- Sessions combine brief presentations by Harvard-trained faculty with hands-on writing exercises for participants
- Clients set the length of the group sessions to fit into the organization's schedule. Typically, clients request 60-minute sessions.
One-on-One Tutorials
- One-on-one tutorials last 30 or 60 minutes. Faculty prepare a tutorial discuss a participant’s writing in detail, identifying patterns of error, teaching solutions, and answering questions. Tutorials give each participant the individualized attention that allows for the most efficient progress. Clients send faculty their documents, and within 24-48 hours, faculty give detailed feedback to guide revision.
- Feedback is delivered either on-site or via live video or audio conferencing. Clients can also receive annotated documents or video and audio commentaries.
- To ensure that clients retain what they learn, feedback does not simply involve editing clients' documents. Instead, faculty identify errors, explain solutions, and offer an edited version to show clients how the solutions improve the document.
- We provide follow-up support as clients continue working on their documents. Feedback is given in formats that clients find most useful—whether live video conferencing, additional online writing guides, or video or audio commentaries. Faculty deliver tailored writing advice to clients to help them improve.
- All transmissions are secure and password protected to protect each client’s confidentiality.
